You can trust Asa Travel Pte. Ltd. to book your holiday through our website http://www.asamaldives.com  We try to update the contents of this site as accurate as possible; however, we strongly recommend that you clarify all the matters by contacting our reservation staff, if a confirmation of the contents of this site is necessary.  

1.1 We carefully check the information provided by the resorts, hotels and other sources to see whether it is correct. However, please note that this information may have changes, if the managements decide to maintain or improve their facilities. Safari tours, cruise itineraries may change due to local conditions such as weather. If we are informed of any long term changes, we will always advice you prior to your arrival.

1.2 We take the responsibility to make sure the holiday you book through us, will be guaranteed and are of reasonable standard. Failure to provide such services, due to direct result of breach of our contractual duties in making arrangements to you, such cases we will bear responsibility and you will be appropriately compensated. We will not accept liability for the acts and omissions of our employees and suppliers, whilst they are acting in the course of their employment to provide any service or arrangement forming part of the holiday that you have booked with us, including any claim involving, death, personal injury or illness.

Pricing:

- Normally our prices include food and accommodation and return transfers. Our quotations are based on full board, half board and bed & breakfast accommodation and transfers are based on one way and return. Our prices are based in United States Dollars or equivalent of International currencies at the rate published by Maldives Monitory Authority.

2.1 All inclusive resorts may have other facilities and services included in accommodation charges, which will be informed to you when confirming reservation. Charges for any additional facilities requested by you will be mentioned separately in the invoice. Normally charges for other services, apart from accommodation, meals and return transfer, are to be paid directly to hotel reception or where the services are been provided to you.

2.2 PRICE GUARANTEE - No Surcharge Guarantee
Before you confirm a reservation we will forward you the accurate price of your chosen holiday, including the cost of any other facilities you have requested. Once you have accepted the price and the booking has been confirmed, that price is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharges or unknown charges. The price includes Asa Travels’ service charges, Government taxes, visa fees, handling fees.

Payment:

Once you send us a booking request by filling ‘booking request form’ or any other media, there-on we will forward you the break-down of all the charges. You need to send the acceptance of these charges with in 2 days. Otherwise these rates may not be valid or this reservation may be cancelled if there is no communication from your side.

3.1 Your booking request cannot be confirmed by us, unless we receive the payment. The full payment against the Invoice has to be settled before 45 days of arrival. For bookings with in 45 days of arrival need to pay immediately by credit card.

3.2 Once you send us a booking request by filling ‘booking request form’ or any other media, there-on we will forward you the break-down of all the charges. And once we receive your confirmation for the breakdown of all the charges, we will reserve your accommodation, passing you the pro-forma invoice for payment. We can reserve your accommodation for 15 days for bookings made before 45 days of arrival and only 48 hours for reservations made with in 45 days of arrival. To confirm this reservation you need to settle the payment during this period. This period will be effective from the time we mail you the pro-forma Invoice. Normally you will receive the pro-forma invoice with in 24 hours from the moment you sent the acceptance of ‘the break down of all the charges’. Failure to receive the payment during this period may result in cancellation of your reservation.

3.3 We will need an advance payment in order to confirm your reservation. You need to send at least 50% of the total amount to confirm the bookings made long time in advance (before 45 days of arrival) These bookings will need full payment, to be settled, 30 days before your arrival. For bookings made less than 45 days of arrival, the payment should be made immediately and we can only accept Credit Card payments for these bookings.

3.4 You can either pay by credit card or you can Wire Transfer the total amount to our account.

3.5 We accept only Visa and Master cards.

3.6 Paying by credit card
We currently accept off line payments, as this is safeer way to pass your credit card information. We will pass you the credit card debit form (CCDF) to be filled by you, and once we receives the CCDF by fax, we will debit your card for the Total Value, and in return we will confirm your reservation and issue a holiday voucher.

3.7 Paying by Wire Transfer
In the invoice we send you,   our Bank account details are mentioned for you to transfer the amount. We will have to receive the funds in our account to believe that you have made the payment.

Cancellation:

Changes due to circumstances beyond our control
We will not be liable to pay any compensation if we are forced to cancel or in any way change your holiday as a result of situations outside our control which neither we nor our suppliers could foresee or forestall even with all due care. For example technical problems with transport, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or main charter, the alteration of the airline or aircraft type, war or threat of war, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disaster, bad weather, terrorist activity.

4.1 If we change your holiday accommodation
We do not control the day-to-day management of your accommodation, and in exceptional cases it is possible that we may be advised that the reserved accommodation is not available. If this happens before your departure or on arrival in resort we will endeavor to provide accommodation of at least the same standard in the same resort area. If only accommodation of a lower standard is available we will refund the difference of the price between the accommodation booked and that available.

4.2 If we cancel your holiday
We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your holiday for any reason. However we will not cancel your holiday within 30 days of departure unless it is for a reason outside our control (see changes due to circumstances beyond our control). If we have to cancel your holiday we will offer you:- 1. An alternative holiday of comparable type, though if the alternative offered is at additional cost, the difference will be payable by you, or 2. A full refund of all monies paid. The above offers will not apply where the cancellation by us arises out of non-payment or late payment on any part of the cost of your holiday, or for alterations requested by you within 30 days of arrival, when cancellation charges will apply. 4.3 Cancellation by you
We will accept any confirmed cancellation of a reservation. Such a cancellation is effective on the day received by us. The client will be notified of the acceptance of the cancellation and will be liable to the following charges:

 
Cancellations received less than : - Cancellation Charge
30 days of arrival; 50% of the total accommodation charges.
14 days of arrival and No shows; Accommodation charges for the first 7 nights, return transfer charges and 50% of the balance amount on accommodation.
There will always be a deduction of an administrative charge of 10% of the total amount, if you cancel a reservation in addition to the cancellation charges if any.

4.4 Changes by you
If the requested change in a confirmed booking is more than 30 days before arrival and accepted by us, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee not exceeding US$50 per booking, plus any extra charge resulting. In any other case, the request may be treated at our discretion, as a cancellation

Insurance:
5.0 You are earnestly recommended to ensure when making your reservation that you and your party are insured against all appropriate risk and include all the areas you intend to visit.

Our commitments to you

Your contract is with Asa Travel Pte. Ltd. We will arrange to provide you with the various services which form part of the holiday you book with us. This contract is effective only after we have confirmed your booking. And Asa Travel has the right to increase or decrease the price as long as  the contract is not effective.
